Grandi artisti internazionali si sono mobilitati a favore del Giappone concedendo le proprie canzoni per la realizzazione dell’album “Songs For Japan”. Il ricavato delle vendite della compilation sarà destinato a sostenere la Croce Rossa giapponese, impegnata in queste settimane ad aiutare le vittime del terremoto e dello tsunami. La compilation è già disponibile su iTunes e dal 5 aprile sarà in vendita in tutti i negozi di musica con un doppio CD al prezzo di 9,99 euro. Gli artisti che hanno aderito all’iniziativa, le case discografiche (EMI Music – Sony Music Entertainment – Universal Music Group – Warner Music Group) e gli editori musicali hanno deciso di rinunciare alle royalty e di devolvere tutto in beneficenza.
